Install the extension

The extension is not on the Chrome Web Store yet. Until it is, you load it into Chrome yourself — Chrome calls this an unpacked extension, and it takes about a minute.

Load it into Chrome

1. Download the zip above and unzip it. Keep the unzipped folder somewhere permanent — Chrome loads the extension from that folder every time it starts, so deleting it uninstalls the extension.
2. Open chrome://extensions.
3. Turn on Developer mode (top right).
4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped hatgtsm-extension folder.

Then get a key

The extension needs a key to analyse anything. Sign in and mint one — it takes an email address and no password — then paste it into the extension's options page.

What you are signing up for

A copy installed this way does not update itself. A Web Store extension updates in the background; this one is frozen at the build you downloaded, and a newer one reaches you only when you come back here, download it again, and replace the folder.

Before you install it, it is worth knowing what the extension sends and what the service keeps: that is the privacy policy, and it is written to be read rather than agreed to.
